System of modular wall shelves to build bookcases. ELLIPSE is designed by Joe Colombo for his apartment in Via Tristano Calco in Milan and built as a through beam and as a headboard and bedside table. The particular shape allows to contain objects and books leaving them at sight and at the same time protected. The element, to be individually attached to the wall, can be coupled in length or stacked vertically so as to constitute a real library. The light aluminum alloy system is composed of a whole module and a half module for a corner solution.
