Outdoor furniture for summer: which one to choose

To live your summer to the fullest and make your garden a modern and welcoming space even in the hottest hours of the day, we recommend that you take a look at the modern outdoor furniture available. A simple way to arrange the outdoor space in the summer is through a gazebo, an awning, a pergola or a pergotenda, which easily adapt to your garden and allow you to enjoy your free time in the shade and sheltered from the summer sun.

The Gazebo

The gazebo, a summer kiosk mostly covered with climbing plants, with an exquisitely architectural profile, is a structure that can be built in different materials: structural wood, wrought iron or masonry. Open on the sides towards the outside, it can be fixed to the ground or not. It is ideal for hosting whoever you prefer for an aperitif or simply sheltering you from the hottest hours of the day to read or relax. The gazebo allows you to find a solution to the management of the garden in the summer and at the same time furnish it according to your tastes. As for the bureaucratic aspect, this type of outdoor furniture always requires a permit unless it is built for temporary purposes with a light structure and without adhering to the ground.

The Tent

The presence of an awning optimizes the usability of your garden space, regardless of its size. Its installation requires less time than a gazebo and is advisable if you are looking for a more informal and simple option to build. It is an ideal structure for exteriors such as balconies or parts of the garden that you want to protect from the sun and summer heat. Its installation falls within the scope of free building interventions, not requiring any type of permit.

The Pergola Awning

Pergotenda is a lightweight and removable outdoor furnishing structure made of wood or metal, which is covered by a potentially retractable sheet, bamboo mats, cane or transparent film, without building walls of any kind. For this reason, it is a practical structure to install and remove easily at the end of the summer period, without the need for a building permit.

The Pergola

The pergola is a structure open on at least three sides and at the top. Its most obvious advantages are its lightness, being made of wood or another light material, the absence of foundations and the possibility of moving it. It often serves as a support for climbing plants that create an aesthetically pleasing thread with the rest of the garden, protecting the space below from the sun. It usually does not require building permits, unless the upper part is covered or is not easily removable.
