Inspired by Asia and the traditional rice lamp, Kyoto was created, a rice lamp with a modern expression. Designer Mikael wanted to create a modern variation of the rice lamp and found the beautiful shape in a spinning toy from his childhood, the perfect combination of shape and material. The thin white rice paper creates a soft light and at the bottom hangs a decorative black metal stick with a little weight. Kyoto has a 120 cm long black cable and a black plastic ceiling cup.
