The Bird in Space rug by Layered is inspired by the creations of acclaimed Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancusi and is made from 100% soft New Zealand wool, known for its long-lasting quality and appearance. The rug is designed in earthy tones on a bone white base - colours often found in his work and in the Parisian studio where he created most of his work, with a medium-high pile. These rugs tend to shed quite a bit in the first six months, so we recommend vacuuming regularly to shorten this process. After this time the pile will fade.
